Alameda Kids Mission

The mission of the Alameda Kids Ministry is to teach the Bible to children in order to build their trust in God as their Creator and belief in Jesus Christ as their Savior, helping them become a follower of Jesus and belong to the family of God through fun and friendship.

We partner with parents, grandparents and caregivers of children birth-5th grade. Questions? Contact Teresa Ham or Bonnie Scroggins at 405-321-0788.

Alameda Kids Goals

  • Teach the Bible from Old to New Testament as a full story of a God who loves us and can be trusted to keep His promises.
  • Help children develop a foundation of lasting faith that leads to becoming a follower of Jesus. This lasting faith includes cultivating Godly character traits, learning to treat others well and forming spiritual resilience.
  • Encourage families to fully participate in the faith development and discipling of their children.
  • Encourage the development of spiritual habits: Bible Reading & Memorization, Prayer, Giving and Service.
  • Foster a fun and safe environment of belonging that creates a desire to participate in intergenerational as well as child-focused church activities.
