Bible Classes

We offer Bible classes for all ages at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings.  On Wednesday nights, we offer Early Service at 5 pm for our Classics group, the Summit Youth Ministry meets at 6:30 pm during the school year, and Bible classes for kids and adults meet at 7 pm.  The current series in the 7 pm service is "Alameda Conversations: Let's Talk about Race."

  • Just Jesus Stories

    This class provides a place to discover Jesus by focusing on the four Gospels of the New Testament. The Fall quarter class is led by Senior Minister Rusty Tugman.

  • The journey

    An all ages class that explores what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Whether you are new & searching or have been a Christian for years, this class is for anyone who wants to take the next step in their journey with Christ.


    During the Summer, all Sunday morning adult Bible classes will meet in the auditorium for a combined class on 1 Timothy. 

  • Life's Healing Choices

    This class is based on the book Life's Healing Choices by Johnny Baker and meets in Room 197.

  • Intergenerational

    An all ages Bible class led by Dwayne Mitchell. The topic for the Fall quarter (September–November) is Christian Apologetics. This class meets in the gym.


  • Primetimers (50+)

    A Bible class for adults (ages 50 & up) led by Steve Knight, focusing on the book of Ephesians for the Fall quarter (September–December).

  • Singles (50+)

    A Bible class for single adults (ages 50 & up) led by Bill Haun, focusing on the book of Ephesians for the Fall quarter (September–December).

  • Women (all ages)

    An all ages women's bible class focusing on a new series called "Faith Journeys." Each Sunday morning, one of our Alameda women will be telling the story of their faith walk and how they got to where they are today.

  • College

    Join us in room 185 on Sunday mornings for various topics, led by Campus Minister Darin Sixkiller. 

  • D-School

    D-School is a 4-week discipleship training course led by Senior Minister Rusty Tugman. This course is meant to prepare members for Discovery Bible Study groups.  D-School is offered several times throughout the year. Click here to see when the next round of D-School begins!
